DATAH report – CEIAS Newsletter N°15/2017

D.A.T.A.H began its early life in 2011 under the rather unwieldy guise of “Rescuing Tamil Customary Law (R.T.L.C.).” In its early infancy, it was designed as a 12-month pilot project destined to explore whether written documents of scholarly value for the study of conflict management were lying around in private households of traditional or former power holders in the rural stretches of south-central Tamil Nadu.
